For this example, we’ll use Ubuntu, but Iperius Remote is also available for several other Linux distributions.

- Linux Mint
- Red Hat
- Fedora
- CentOS
- openSUSE
For Debian-based distributions, such as Ubuntu and Linux Mint, you need to download the .deb.
For other distributions, such as Red Hat, Fedora, CentOS and openSUSE, the package is available instead .rpm.

How to Download Iperius Remote for Linux
To get started, go to the official Iperius Remote website and open the Iperius Remote for Linux download page .
Then select the package compatible with your Linux distribution.
For Ubuntu, Debian and Linux Mint you can download the package .deb.
For distributions such as Red Hat, Fedora, CentOS and openSUSE you can instead use the .rpm.
Once the download is complete, open the folder where the installation file was saved.
How to Install Iperius Remote on Linux
After downloading the correct package, open the terminal in the folder where the .
The installation procedure varies slightly depending on the Linux distribution you are using.
For a Debian-based system, such as Ubuntu, you can use the command listed on the official download page, for example:
sudo apt install ./iperius-remote-desktop-2_0_3-amd64.deb
For a distribution that uses RPM packages, you can instead use:
sudo dnf install ./iperius-remote-desktop-2_0_3-x86_64.rpm
It is always recommended to copy the updated command directly from the official download page, so as to use the correct name of the available version.
Paste the command into the terminal and press Enter .
The system may ask for the Linux user password to authorize the installation.
Enter your password and press Enter again .
Once the procedure is completed, Iperius Remote will be installed on your computer.
Then search for Iperius Remote among the installed applications and launch the program.
How to Use Iperius Remote on Linux
After opening Iperius Remote on your Linux computer, you can immediately start a new remote connection.
Iperius Remote allows you to use Linux as a control station to access different types of devices, including:
- Windows

To connect to a remote device, make sure Iperius Remote is also available on the device you want to control.
The remote device will display the data needed to establish the connection.
